I wonder why you hurt your hand.
Were you holding your pencil/pens/markers/stabbing implements a certain way? Do you press very hard or hold on to them too tight?

I never have had hand issues when it comes to drawing ( knock on wood ) so I wonder if I could compare our physical movement technique and see what's up...
