At Starbucks today, it was coming to the end of my stint in the lobby and drinking my frap and drawing/inking/reading when a guy and a girl walked in muttering about some person who was handicapped parking in a handicap spot. They get their coffee, drink their coffee, and then go about interrogating the other patrons in the shop to see who parked there. When they find the pair (an older gentleman and a younger woman, either his daughter or a young wife) they start berating them and then (in a public place, no less) the four get into a shouting match! In the middle of sodding Starbucks! They argued for longer than it would've taken the two who took the spot to finish their coffee and get out of the shop. Granted, neither party was mature about it in the *least* - the older gentleman was calling the two who called him out on his lawbreaking as "bitchy public police" which made no sense - and it really ruined the last twenty minutes or so in the shop for me because they puttered about muttering about the "stupid people" and their attitudes loud enough that, on the other end of the shop and with a speaker blaring music between us, I could hear them.
Leaving Starbucks I made an impromptu stop at The New Rave, which is a nitch little shop off the main road on the way home that sells odds and ends. I picked up a new pair of hoop earrings, a new serpent ring (it's so pretty!), two unmatching studs (ribbed crystal and a triskilion), and a pair of dangling dagger earrings. All of it unnecessary but at the same time, those little things you'd regret not getting because they're so odd you don't see them often.
And then I got home, ate food, and rejoiced when Dad brought me home 250 sheets of glossy paper. <3 And more ink catridges!
It looks like my journal's turning into one giant, updated-every-day advertisement for my wares at Otakon. *snickers* So am I multi-location whoring myself out? Or merely using another less-used-by-me route for...er...new clientèle? *had to keep the whore theme going with continued language?*
Oh yeah! If you're a member of DA and you haven't already, go to my journal and the subsection of Polls and take part in the random one. Here's a quick link for those who might not want to dig or care for it. And no, I won't tell anyone why I'm doing such an odd, random, crazy poll. Not a soul. *pause* ...Jemz? Give me bunnies? *pulls out all the stoppers and makes absolutely adorably cute eyes*
If there's one thing I've been learning, it's that I need to get up earlier. x.x Not kidding - I'm only managing about two pieces of art coloured a day and only two inked, which is *not* enough. I need to get up to four images a day before the con, and try and keep that pace. As well as get my business cards printed off and *collapses* I can renege on my promise to sleep for a few days, ne? Ne?

° Graceful Archer: Kagome - My first-ever fanart from Inu-Yasha but not going to be my last. Be prepared to see some chibis and some (alright, probably as many as I can crank out) of Inu and Seishirou, his older brother.
° Senshi of Time: Sailor Pluto - not the first fanart of Sailor Pluto I've ever done but certainly the best one I've ever done. I'm actually so bloody happy with this one that I don't want to sell the original, even if I probably will have to.
