Something to mull over...
Mar. 12th, 2004 03:28 pm^^ I am discussing PG-13/R related subjects such as sex and porn behind this cut so if you don’t want to read it, go to my DA page and check out the list of upcoming artwork I’m doing. I don't go into details but I do rant about how to write sex and things like porn. I'd rate the cut at PG to be honest, I just talk about them.

So, for those who consider writers of smut not real writers (and this goes for people who snub fan-fic authors also, since if it's done canon it's really hard to do!) I have only this to say: We're writers, just like you are. You can snub and insult our creations, but we pore our blood and sweat into them like any other artist.
From my own side as a writer, if I hadn't been able to write fan-fiction, and if I didn’t write for roleplays, I'd never be the writer that I am today. If I didn't flesh out characters in a world preset by another creator, I would never have been able to wrap my own mind around the ways to create a world of my own, and I'd not have the workings for my novels that I have.
On a completely unrelated note, I have a Draco Malfoy pic in the works...
