Supporting Domestic Releases, one title at a time...

Badgered non-stop by A-chan and M-chan to show my love of the manga industry and to support the domestic releases of my favorite titles from Japan here in America, I buckled down recently.

Now, er, one of the titles I've bought isn't available for public sale until Tuesday, but that's...er...I'm special. And no, not 'Special Ed' special, I'm special. In a good way.

Currently, sitting beside my Tokyo Babylon: A Save Tokyo City Story (Shinshokan editions) sits Tokyopop's first Tokyo Babylon: A Save Tokyo City Story. Beside that, Del Rey's forray into the manga industry Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and XXXHolic.

VIZ is purportedly going to be releasing the other title I will support, Yami no Matsuei but with no release date set in either May or June 2004, I look to July as a possible month and will simply wait for my shipment from Japan with volumes 1 & 2 and a Character File artbook.

Any other titles you think I should domestically support?

I have but one thing to say about this movie...

Abandon all hope ye who go to Ven Hellsing and expect a good movie.

It sucked. Big time. Horribly. The best thing was M-chan not killing me for constantly bugging her. And the gummie bears. Of course, the parking lot was a lot of fun as well, once I got my car alarm off.
