I've been working on my new layout like a...mad...hen. Spent a good seven or more hours working on the CGing, thus completely forgetting about my midterm in Comm today. XD Just my luck. Got about three hours to study for it - it's only seven chapters from the book, so that's not bad. Will have to divvy my time between studying to also write up the short paper due at start of class today, too, but that's maybe a page and so easy to fudge.

^^ There are many problems when you spend more than seven hours at your computer, using lots of little strokes to colour things...problems like your arm twinging, the redevelopmnet of the Stylus callous on your index finger, the hand-cramped-so-badly-your-pinky-doesn't-move, and needing to dig through all of your belongings to pull out that arm brace again. The feeling of the tendons and muscle curling and pulling away from the bones of your arm is something hard to describe in feeling, but when your arm gains an inch in width because everything under your skin is inflamed it is time to get out the braces.

Recieved a wonderfully apologetic email from the Noble Collection - they're sending a shipping label prepaid so *I* won't have to suffer postage charges for their really stupid mistake. Still pissed off at it even happening, but oh well - you win some and you learn never to buy from other people. *growls* I'll be frank - nice looking products but up close, the wand looks like shite and am *so* glad I have proof I'd cancelled the bloody order. I wouldn't keep the wand if I had ordered it and hadn't cancelled the transaction.

Expecting to get a preview of the new ::FE:: layout done tonight, after my midterm. Realised I need to change a few of the buttons around and condense sections - I left off an area for Links! Since I've begun hosting other people on my web space, one thing I wanted to make sure I did with a new layout was put an area to make a portal to the other sections.

theartema is holding a contest to have someone design her layout for her - if you haven't checked it out already, DO SO!

Things to do today:
~~1. Write short paper for Comm 320~~ Done!
~~2. Study for midterm in Comm 320~~ Done and taken!
3. Finish layout for ::FE::
4. Read Hogbin ("The Island of Menstruating Men") and write short paper
5. Scan the five or so new arts that have been inked

siriusjazz - get your tookus in gear and email Miss "I made you a layout" :P Also, remember you've got 5GB bandwidth - and you're at 3GB *now* and that's before your other soundtrack went up. I'll be watching and shut you off if I have to, and if I do I'll tell you either at work or something. Keep a copy of the files or I will for now, at least, in case you have to use You SendIt.

thescarletwoman - ne, ne? Any idea for a name yet? :)

AND the USB hub has been named - by me. Not James, since that just doesn't work. World, welcome Hogsmeade to my desk o' computer stuff. The home LAN next door is Hogwarts, while the wireless got itself dubbed the Floo Network. Considering ~~nicking~~ checking out a camera from the StarLab tonight to take a picture for the world...and bugger all, but the laptop fan now needs an appropriate name.
