Aaaah, eBay, how I love you. And hate you at the same time, you money grubbing collection of people selling things I want, you. A pair fo shoes I want but if I don't get the shoes then I could get this lovely collection of yaoi and if I get the yaoi do I have enough money for England and the tickets to Manchester airport are about $850 roundtrip so I just need one more paycheck going into the back and I could pay for them and *thud*

While looking for scanlations of some mangas (yaoi, I'll admit it) I stumbled across this great place for little yaoi goodies. Downloading lovely wallpapers not, looking at their themesets, and checking out the translations they've got up. If nothing else, lots of prettynew seriees to sniff out and find. One site links to their LJ and oh lovely, they have some of the most grogeous things there....if I can find a moodset from them, I might be able to finally get a new moodset. *.*

*after riffling* No moodset, though I have a bundle of new icons and wallpapers - oh well, it just means i have to get off my arse and draw the moodset I want to have. :D

The saga of the Rapidographs ended yesterday, too. :3 I took my defective .35mm pen from the set I'd bought into the shoppe, the manager started to take the tip off to look at it and pulled it off with the ink cartridge still attached! XD He just groaned, mopped up the ink, and handed me a brand new pen. WOOT WOOT! The tips alone are about $15 to replace and a new pen (at least the one he gave me) was $25 itself. ;) Really not a bad price when I got the whole set plus a bottle of ink for $60 (full price $120 mind you).

According to the eBay sellers, my three CDs of yaoi manga/doujinshi should ship out on Monday, my new yaoi manga books should arrive on Monday, and my new (again, yaoi) movies should be on their way out come Tuesday. ^^''' And after that, my spending pretty much cuts down. I'm going to work on finishing commissions like no tomorrow to add that money to my UK pot, which should bump me up to "I can buy my plane tickets!" in three weeks' time. After that I need to scrounge together the passport renewal fee (about $150 I believe), make sure my taxes are paid (do those really soon o0) and send the check off to MD for Otakon '04 temporary sales tax fees, then plan a trip to the airport to begin exchanging dollars for pounds sterling before the exchange rate falls any lower. If I wait until I actually arrive, I think I might end up losing .50 or more per dollar at the way the value is falling.
