(no subject)

For anyone curious, yep - still sick. Still hacking up stuff from my lungs, still quite dopey often, still sometimes feverish, and still mostly miserable. I coulda sword that sick-season was winter, not summer... anyone else agree with me on that? On the good side, my ankle is completely up to normal levels of movement, but incredibly weak. Booh, weak ankle. ><

Apparently Italy won the World Cup - go Italy! Someone on France did something reprehensible (he's French, so it's aside from just that), but I don't know the details, nor do I really care to. As I said to a friend last night, my interest in the World Cup stems entirely from which Formula 1 team I support. I support Ferrari, so I decided that rooting for Italy to win the World Cup also coincided. That, literally, was the extent of my interest.

I'm nearly done with the it-was-supposed-to-be-a-drabble inspired by foreword. It's somewhere close to a fic (1,000+ words is how I define a fic) at this point, and it involves two fandoms I have never publicly shown writings for - House, M.D. and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Remember, it's foreword's fault that I began this crossover in the first place! With luck, and a spot of good dinner as well, it might be up tonight. But only after the project for FA gets done. *nods*

I've got a few artistic things in-progress, which I hope to have up at some point to show you all. The better project was spawned spur-of-the-moment while talking with theartema, and is a horribly ambitious but wonderful project. Since I like to invent costumes, and I also like to make them, I am going to take one of the designs from one of Artie's pictures (which was niftily inspired by one of my pictures) and I am going to make us both a version of the outfit. Including leather hip-holsters for potions vials, and you know we're going to be the envy of every Potion Master with those babies! Artie's going to have her in all white and I get to be the all black version. ♥

Also - watched Doomsday. ♥ Yay! And Torchwood come the fall - yay! And then the Christmas episode, to explain the wtf moment that duh, not going to spoil things. And mayhaps tomorrow I'll be able to go look at a new computer, since today got canned thanks to house emergency of the structural foundations kind. I want my health back, plz. I'd like to be able to put on my shoes without hacking a lung up.

Summary: Dr Gregory House is sent to Sunnydale General Hospital to help get their interns and staff up to scratch. After all, they seem to have an immeasurable number of "odd" cases each year, none of which get any sort of scientific explanations put on the files.
Notes: foreword gave me a fandom crossover of House/Glory (from BtVS) and a prompt of "headcase" to base a drabble on. This isn't my fault, you know. And also - knowledge of both series (at least through season 5 of BtVS and minimum season 1 of House) is assumed. Or required. Leaving your sanity at the doorstep might also be a requirement. Also, my first time writing inside of either of these fandoms!
