WoW The Project? (Art, WoW, 3.2 bitching)

Slapping the WoW stuff under a cut because, well, it's just polite?
So far 3.2 has broken all of my mods except Bagnon and Titan. MONKEYQUEST NOOOO! I miss it already. I can't get in on my Alliance servers reliably so right now am doing the Dalaran orphan quests on... GASP Arlu. It's odd. The silence from a full guild is... disturbing. :/ Plus finding that all of my toons -aside- from my raider had been g-kicked was a bit of a knee-jerk shock. But I'm going to get her a baby Oracle murloc thing and be happy. I'll buy the mounts I can (since I collect them on Arlu) and possibly even get her dual spec. Maybe. I just feel like I got gut-punched seeing the rest of my toons all gone from Midian. (I take back the silence part, folks saw me chatting in guild and it's all warm fuzzies again)
I got my obsidian hatchling on Arlu, toddled off to pick up my Oracle orphan, and began ferrying it on its merry way around Northrend. OHMYGODSOCUTE. I cannot over-emphasize HOW CUTE they are. "You don't look like a dragon." "If I were a dragon there would be no room for anyone else, little one." "Oki...how about now?" SO CUTE. And the dancing murloc? I must screencap this on Vir. I did the quests really fast on Arlu then discovered that I am TEN PETS away from getting my fawn on her. Dear lord, the things you forget. If I camp the raptors and get those (and pick up the other missing world pets or just farm myself some whelps) I will have my fawn. You see this problem? This would be me going back to my Horde server and discovering my Horde toons again. D: Argh! (I'm on a huge WoW kick can you tell? *uploads more icons*
As I sat at work I realized something - I was itching to draw. And lo and behold I started to draw Arluthia in all her Belfy glory. In Weregeek. Then realized I wanted to make more than one desktop. So thank you,
wyrdone, for putting the idea in my addled brain that I wanted to do a WoW-themed desktop in the same style. Thank you very much with a whack to the head for it. :P THBBBBBT. Not sure who will appear and since I can't find a lot of my old folders of screenshots of folk's characters (and most of them have, oh, gone the way of dragons in terms of shutting their accounts down or moving off or just heading out in various ways) I've got a limited field to draw from. Right now I've got Arlu with her squidly shoulders that I swear should be animated to go "OOOGAog! *twine*" every few seconds. Or the eye should blink. Something. So yes, WoW, the Project version. Prolly with my alts and a various herd of made up folk who might resemble folks or might not. I is not certain.
I'm looking at white-hatting some here at work so suggestions on some basic reading I can look for would be muchly appreciated. We've got a series of machines that *constantly* get infected and I want to know why. The tickets from this one office-! Enough to drive me mad. I want to get into the root of it, see what's going on. I think it might be bad office structure and rules and computer security but I'd like to know more to hand over ideas for how to nip this off before infection round 2 hits.
I am excited about tonight in a very geeky almost "n00bpagan" way. It's been so long since I've done just a reminder to myself, and the Lady, that this is my path. I also hope that this helps me sleep better because circles under eyes are not a positive fashion statement.
