I've got quite a bit of new art to put up, so I'm breaking the artworks into two separate posts - this one of fanart and the next one of originals.

Comments: Not the first time I've drawn Regulus, though this is the first one to get inked. The second (really, the first Regulus) I've done is the twin to Sirius' "Mage" piece while this one is a rehashing and refinement of the original uniform design I first showed in Harry's piece.

BABYLON 5 fanart! Woot! And I lvoe the counting the ways *L*
I really like how you handled the wings in that last picture. it really odds a certain punch to the overall effect.

I think the gree in starsingers hair could be blended a bit more. Instead of large chunks of the dark green, think you could have used a finer tip and kinda worked it more into the lighter green.

But I love her quirkky posiiton! She stands out from the others because of that.

I really agree about Starsinger's hair - I let myself rush it when I was trying to finish it off. Lesson to be learned: never work on a picture when your head is hurting - you'll allow yourself to work towards lower standards than you'd normally allow. x.x Some of the issue came from my flagrant brain fart at "yellow highlights on green hair, wtf?!" because if I'd done the character, I'd not have picked such an odd highlight shade to work from. e.e But I did allow myself to really slack on her hair, especially since I did it last, which is a far cry from when I normally do hair - ie, right after the skin.

GO BABYLON 5!!!! I need icons of Ivannova doing her speech she gives to the recovery and exploration team that tries to go after some ship or planet when she tells them not to. *g*

^^ And many thanks! The character from Ramya-san didn't have wings but you've seen my art long enough - if a person (or picture) stands still long enough, it's going to wind up with wings!

*blushes* Heee. There needs to be more B5 fanarts - there's so *much* in that series! *ponders* But you're right - I don't think I've ever seen a lot of B5 artwork, maybe a handful of pieces in total.

:D Of course she is! Personally, I think Psy Cops should have a title like "Grand Master suchandsuch" and then the translators go "But you can call them psychotic arses, if you'd like" or something suitably true.

We definitely need Shadow, and Vorlon art. I have a tattoo of a shadows vesicle, and would love to see more art of them. Although from my name, I am on the side of the Vorlons. The shadow vesicle looks better as a tat though. ;)

It'd be a hilarious joke around the command staff of B5 too - just think. "Hey, it's the Grand Master coming on board. Quick, speak Membari so they don't know we're insulting them!"

OMG, I would love to see some of 'The First Ones' ! They only showed that one floaty head, to Ivanova and Marcu, which looked more like a Hawaiian god head! LOL

I like to hypothesize based on the ships the other First Ones had, what they might look like. *_* There was the floaty head, and then also the guy with REALLY long fingers (am I the only one those creeped out?) who saved Sheridan's life on Za'ha'dun.

Bad, bad Bester - he knows how much Garibaldi hates him - especially after what the Corps did to him! The Corps and the Shadows together, I guess, but really - Bester needs a smack or five upside the head.

*snorts and head desks* I completely forgot about them! It was so nice of Meirona to put Reggie in the listing of notables for the day. ^^

Do you mean, Lorien? The one who came back from Za'ha'dum, with Sheridan? I didn't find him creepy, I thought he was quite interesting.

The disproportionate fingers have always made me uneasy about him - it oddly enough, is all about his hands. I really like him as a character, but his design has more than a pinch of "other" to set him apart from any other alien species you see in the show.

His fingers - they're spindly, bony, spider-like - it's that alone which creeps me out.

You know I don't think I ever really looked at them. I wonder if the Shadows are a descendant of his. They have Spidery legs, and arms.

I'm not sure - he calls them "children" which implies some sort of relationship, but then again, from how he tells the story of the First Ones, they were the guides for the Shadows and vorlons themselves, before the first Great War. << I shall now have to 'force' myself to watch Season 4 to see just what Lorien says to the Shadows and Vorlons, when he sees them.
